The large scale of the building and tight budget from the client were the main drivers of the design strategy that was based on scales of intervention. The optimization of travel times from each one's desk to the different commons was critical for the space planning.
Finishes are a blend of the existing building industrial “roughness” and the pragmatic architecture ideated for this case: steel, MDF, corrugated plastic are mixed with warm and soft textiles implemented in graphics, tapestries and ancillary furniture.
